How to choose a whipped body butter
Choose a whipped body butter mainly by its scent. Dry, sensitive and mature skin will love the sweet Confectionery or the gentle Linden and AB with shea and mango butter. The fresh Beauty and Purity suits all skin types, including sensitive. Pure Aura smells of freshly washed cotton and contains oat silk, and for men there is Odin with a soft masculine scent.
You will find a lighter butter with hyaluronic acid among the moisturising body butters, and for light everyday care after the shower there are body lotions.

How to use a body butter
Take a small amount; the size of a hazelnut is enough for one part of the body. Warm the butter briefly between your palms, where it melts and spreads easily. Massage it into clean, slightly damp skin after a shower or bath, which is how hydration is best sealed into the skin. The whipped texture is airier than you would expect from a butter, and your skin stays soft afterwards.
Whipped shea butter for the body
The basis of the whipped butters is shea butter. It melts at body temperature, binds water well and nourishes, hydrates and softens the skin. Mango butter also makes it more supple. Whipping adds air to the butter, which is why it scoops up as lightly as a cream.
Body butter in winter
In the colder months skin loses moisture, and elbows, knees and shins tend to feel rough. Apply the butter every day after the shower, and on the driest places by all means again in the evening. If you prefer a lighter feel, you can use a body lotion during the day and keep the butter for the evening.
Body butter or body lotion?
A butter is richer and nourishes skin that feels tight. A lotion is light and absorbs sooner, so it suits the morning. You can alternate the two according to the season and how your skin feels.
Butter for the lengths of your hair too
The whipped butters AB and Linden with mango butter also care for hair. Rub a tiny amount between your palms and press it into dry lengths.
