Natural deodorants
Natural deodorants cream and solid
A natural deodorant is gentle everyday care for the underarms that smells of herbs and fresh essential oils. They are made in our own production in the EU – the cream ones with shea butter and coconut oil, the solid ones with soft oat silk. They soften the skin without hindering its natural perspiration.

How to choose a natural deodorant
A cream deodorant is applied with the fingers and warms pleasantly on the skin. Dejko Fresh smells of litsea cubeba (Litsea cubeba), Dejko Herbal of lavender and sage. For men there is the Dejko men's deodorant with cedarwood, bergamot and lemongrass. All the cream deodorants are free from aluminium salts.
If you prefer a classic stick, reach for a solid deodorant. Dejko Solid Fresh has a cooling scent with a citrus undertone for men and women, and Dejko Solid Herbal smells of lavender and sage. Both are free from baking soda, are not greasy and, thanks to the oat silk, also suit sensitive skin.

How to use a natural deodorant
Apply the deodorant to clean, dry underarms, ideally in the morning after a shower. Take a pea-sized amount of the cream deodorant on your finger and gently work it into the skin until it is absorbed. With a solid deodorant, two or three strokes under each arm are enough. If you need to freshen up during the day, you can apply it again.
A deodorant without aluminium is not an antiperspirant
A natural deodorant does not stop perspiration, but it helps soften the accompanying odour. The cream Dejko uses corn starch and non-nano zinc for this, the solid Dejko oat silk and kaolin. If you are switching from an antiperspirant, give your underarms a few weeks to get used to the new care. Breathable clothing made of natural materials also supports a more pleasant feeling.
Why a cream deodorant softens in the warmth
Shea butter and coconut oil are natural fats that melt at higher temperatures. If the cream becomes runny, put it in a cooler place and stir it. In winter it tends to be firmer, so let it melt for a moment between your fingers before applying.
A deodorant for sensitive skin and after shaving
For sensitive skin choose the solid Dejko with oat silk. Do not apply the cream deodorants to irritated or sensitive skin, and after shaving it is better to wait with them until the next day. Before first using a new deodorant it is a good idea to do a tolerance test on your forearm. The cream deodorants are not suitable for children under 3 years.
