How to take tinctures for immunity
Most tinctures in this category are taken on an empty stomach: 20 drops three times a day, washed down with 200 ml of water. For Baikal skullcap and chaga we recommend 20 drops three times a day half an hour before a meal. Shake the bottle before use and do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The tinctures contain alcohol (35% vol.) and are not intended for children.
Echinacea tincture and Baikal skullcap
Purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea) adorns gardens with pinkish-purple flowers with a domed centre. Our echinacea tincture is made from its aerial part and leaves. Baikal skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis) comes from Asia, and its yellow root is used for the tincture.
Chaga – a mushroom from the birch
Chaga, or Inonotus obliquus, grows on the trunks of birches in northern forests. For our chaga tincture we use a dual extraction, through which more substances are obtained from the mushroom than by the usual method. You can read more about chaga on our blog.
Herbs for immunity in winter
Drops are only one part of autumn self-care. Treat yourself to plenty of sleep, movement in the fresh air, a varied diet with vegetables and fruit, and warm drinks. A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet. If you take medication, are pregnant or are breastfeeding, consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
